(Sumrall, MS) Ben made it two in a row Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway as he returned to racing action. It was a fun night as Ben and long-time racing companion, Kevin Cumbie were on hand to welcome the next generation of modified drivers. Rhett Harvey and Cameron Williams were two little kids hanging around the race shop, attending races, playing on 4-wheelers while their dads helped Kevin and Ben. Now these two young men with careers of their own have decided to try their hands at racing modifieds. For the last couple of weeks they have been working out the kinks of their machines and making laps for that all-important seat time. It’s great to see these two “youngster” following in the footsteps of Kevin and Ben all the while picking their brains on chassis setups and shock choices. Soon they will be challenging the old timers.

Ben won his heat race, started on the front row of the feature and won without a serious challenge. Kevin finished second while Rhett and Cameron finished the night having gained more experience.

We truly appreciate all the help and contributions from our loyal sponsors.
